Two things of interest here:
1. Matt Savoie, one of the U.S. representatives in men's figure skating, who finished 7th overall, will be going to Cornell University Law School in the fall. Too bad I'll miss my chance to see him skate at Lynah Rink. ^^
2. In the NBC late-night Olympics feature, the coverage of the 1500 km cross country skiing caught my eye. Athletes from a myriad of countries such as Thailand, Kenya, and Costa Rica competed, and all of them were able to finish the race.
